Hi guys,

I just got my note 9 from t mobile. The s pen will not connect for some reason. I tried resetting it etc. Any ideas?

Is your Bluetooth on? That's the only thing I can think of

yes it is. I have the samsung watch paired.

Should have worked straight out the box. Mine worked immediately.

You may need to re-pair it.

Bluetooth doesn't have to be on since it uses Bluetooth LE

Might be a bad capacitor in the pen and it won't charge maybe?

The phone should see it when inserted charging or not

s pen remote connection failure while a different s pen works

I had issue of s pen not able to connect twice after submersing it in water. think it messes with the bluetooth or capacitor. I took to service center and got it replaced twice. But this time after 6 months, s pen warranty expired and i again submersed it in water and afterwards refuses to connect. This time I put it in a sealed bag with silica gel to completely remove the moisture. And after 18 hours, it got connected promptly.

I had the issue for the last 2 weeks. Tried S Pen reset and a number of tweaks. Nothing worked. I could not use it as a camera remote or even write on some parts of the screen. Then it struck me that it could be the magnetic cover that put two weeks ago. I removed the cover and reset the S Pen and now it works fine. The magnetic cover was not Samsung branded. Hope this helps someone with similar issues.
